Jacy is still recovering from a cold. It's sooooooo sad listening to hear breathing and snoring all the time with all her congestion. So we've decided to take matters into our own hands and suck the snot of her using a bulb syringe. The only problem is that Jacy is not thrilled about getting snot taken out of her. In fact, she might wail and gnash her teeth....err, gums...every time we do it. Good thing long-term memories don't form until age 3 (roughly) right?
This week saw the changing of the guard - Grandma left, and Jejema and Jejebapa (Amit's parents) came for about 10 days. But in between that time (for a full day and a half) Marinda watched both kids while Amit was at work all by herself! And she survived! And that day and a half even included doctor's appointments, so our $10/month babysitter (Netflix) didn't do all the work. (Hahahaha.... very funny Amit.)
We are really happy and excited they are here and that we get to play host to them. Luke went with Amit to get them from the airport (we officially do not all fit in one car anymore) and Luke was just going crazy because he was so excited to see them!
Marinda has been hard at work in Jacy's room. She hung up the flowers and arranged everything so nicely. These pictures are actually from the future (because this post is actually being posted on May 8th instead of April 26) so the cute letters she made are up as well - but that doesn't really matter because the pictures are so cute!
When trying to figure out what else we've done this week - all we could really come up with is Marinda has gotten her and Amit hooked on Chuck - a show on Netflicks that makes her feel happy. She been having some trouble with PPD like symptoms, so she has been looking for something to watch on the nights that she would feel anxyous, and nerdy spies have fit what she needs. You all should check it out. :)
Luke stories:
- Luke has wanted to be a big helper all this week. From hanging curtain rods to cutting fruit, he is all over the place with his play hammer and pirate sword. Most of the time it is really cute - until he starts hitting things that could actually break.
-This morning (day after Jejebapa and Jejema came) Luke informed them that "this was our house" and that they needed to go back to Cleveland. What a great host!
Well, that's it. On with the pictures!!!
