The most awesome news this week is the fact that KAMIE IS HERE! She called Marinda up on Friday and asked if she wanted visitors, and of course Marinda said YES!!!! The kids have been crazy and having fun, and Kamie and Marinda are being awesome, and Amit is - um - playing crowd control.... :D
Yesterday morning we went to the zoo for the first time in months! Jacy especially is a lot older now and she really enjoys the zoo now. We started off with the giraffe crossing then made our way to the wolves because Luke really wanted to see the wolves.
Luke's gymnastics gym had a pre-enrollment party for next year! The party was really just an event to let the kids run around like crazy and play with everything. Jacy had a blast being able to actually be in the gym instead of watching Luke and the older kids. When we went in she was like "am I really allowed to be in here? Really? Really!?!? REALLY!!!!" She especially liked hanging on rings! Luke had fun hanging out with teacher Miley and doing banana rolls (he gets on the bar and swings down to land on his feet) on the uneven bars.
We also made another huge step in the claiming of our house as our own and got our pine trees cut down! Two giant ones in the back, the ones along the side that were being used my critters to get on our roof, a lovely eye sore in the front, and a couple next to the driveway that were growing over the water main. Yay!!! Luke was ecstatic and didn't want to go to school, of course.
Jacy Stories:
•Jacy got Luke's star wars toys and a fake candle and had a Star Wars birthday party! Things were going great until a crazy snake showed up and started hitting everyone!
•Jacy showed off her awesome dance moves!
Luke stories:
•Luke came up with a funny joke this week - it goes something like this:
"Luke Skywalker was sitting in an AT-AT walker with Han Solo and Chewbacca and he looked at and saw X-wings and TIE fighters outside and do you know what they were doing. *Cue Mos Eisley cantina music and Luke dancing*
Luke and Jacy stories:
•Jacy absolutely adores her big brother. Just look at her as show follows around dancing Luke (who is also adorable!)
