Not a lot of pictures and videos this week since we're getting all ready to go to India in a couple days! So enjoy some stories about the kids and next week we should have some pictures from our trip!
Luke stories:
•One morning while the kids were watching scripture videos, Marinda walked out just after waking up and heard this conversation:
Luke: I'm going to punch bad people in the face and send them down to Satan!
Marinda: (keeps walking and in shock)
Amit: Luke, I don't think that would be very nice.
Luke: (big sigh) Okay, I guess we can teach them the gospel instead.
•Luke loves singing and making up songs! We managed to get a recording of him singing about his toys! Amit mentioned "he's making up songs like his Jejebapa!". To which Marinda replied that Luke sounds much better when he sings (no offense Jejebapa!)
Jacy stories:
•Jacy can get her coat on all by herself! We think she's seen kids at Luke's preschool doing the 'flip over' method for getting their coats on and has decided it is just too much fun to not do it!
•We went to Costco and got a bunch of food a new toy - a box! Here's a picture of Jacy going on a trip with her seal pup!
Luke and Jacy stories:
•Luke and Jacy grabbed lightsabers, turned off all the lights and ran around going after stormtroopers! We couldn't be happier - the kids were playing together, showing imagination, and developing a health love of Star Wars!
•These kids have a lot of energy! Last night before dinner we put on "Bo on the Go" which is a show that gets the kids moving by having them dance, run, and pretend to climb along with the girl in the show! We expected Luke to get into it, but Jacy started doing all the stuff too! At one point, they were climbing and Jacy pointed to Amit and said "Daddy!" while pointing to the spot on the floor next to her, asking him to do it too!
•Speaking of energy, the kids needed to get a lot of it last Sunday so we had them to do all sorts of crazy jumps using the trampoline. Luke was jumping on to the trampoline and then landing on the couch. We didn't get that on video unfortunately, but here a video with Jacy on the trampoline that gives you a small sense of how excited they were.

•Luke has gotten really into Lego Star Wars and wants to play it every day. He normally plays a little during Jacy's nap. One day Marinda wasn't feeling great and was resting and told Luke that she couldn't set up Lego Star Wars for him because she wasn't feeling well enough. Luke then rubbed Marinda's hands and feet and said "are you feeling well enough to turn on Lego Star Wars for me, mommy?" Isn't it great how kids are completely transparent about their motivations?

•We went to the mall play area on Saturday while Marinda got her hair cut (yay!) and Amit got some amazing deals on shirts at Macy's. Anyways, Jacy figured out a cool double slide on the tugboat! Luke, of course, was jumping off of the top of every boat into the 'water' and telling Amit to avoid buoys and get fish and all sorts of fun stuff.
•Jacy is saying so many sentences! Marinda wasn't feeling well one day and Amit carried Jacy to the bedroom to visit mommy. While they were talking over Jacy said "mommy's sick". On another day, she was doing something she wasn't supposed to do, and started saying "Stop that! Stop that Luke!" even though Luke wasn't even in the room! Then the last new sentence was after we visited Luke's school for next year and Jacy saw fish painted on the wall. She said "I like fishes. Lots of fishies!"
