The Easter Bunny was sighted at the Misra home again this year! Luke got a jackpot of stuff from new bath toys and bunny books to puzzles and magnetics! Marinda and Amit also got some Cadberry eggs and pocky sticks... YAY!
Marinda was also a space case and completely forgot to get a family picture with Luke in his new Easter shirt and tie from Jejema, but we do have some shots of him finding his Easter Basket. We also had a great time that night sharing Easter Dinner with our good friends the Bushmans and the Houstons, with deviled eggs, salad, homemade rolls, mashed potatoes, and the best ham we've ever had! Marinda also made the
same carrot cake she made last year - she has been waiting all year for Easter to come around again so she had an excuse to make it, and it was sooooooooo goooooooooooood!
In the spirit of Easter, we're sharing our new favorite video on Christ.
Luke's latest accomplishment is being able to climb into his high chair by himself. This is great for him (though what happens to Marinda's weightlifting routine now?) and we love seeing him becoming more independent.
Luke has also started throwing things a lot. Friday night he went a little crazy just throwing one of his balls around the room saying "throw!" every time he threw it. Sometimes he'd throw it towards us and say "daddy throw!" or "mommy throw!" or even "bunny throw!"

This is the Tot Gym we go to every Friday,
Marinda took a picture to try and encourage other friends to come,
but just look at how awesome that place is!
They need one for adults! |

Also on the Luke front, he and Marinda have started swim lessons! Well, really they are more for Luke, because Marinda already knows how to swim, but we're having a really good time. Luke was really apprehensive about getting into the pool at first, and Marinda had to coax him down the stairs at the pool. He was more ok once they pulled out the rubber ducks and balls, and though he kept a pretty good hold on Marinda's neck the entire time we're going to count it as a success. He's even taken some of his skills home and every night he shows Amit how much better he is a blowing bubbles during bath time!

Because it was Easter they were handing out treats at the Tot-Gym,
so Luke got some play-dough! He didn't even try to eat it too much... |

| Yup, cute boy! |
