This week Luke started going to daycare twice a week, but at Bright Horizon's (the fancy daycare that is across the street from our apartment in U-Village where he is going) it might as well be pre-preschool. His teachers are very nice and there are only about five-ish other kids in his classroom. He was sad when we left, but they take pictures of him smiling throughout the day and send us an email with how he and his friends are doing, so we figure he is liking it. And Marinda's nerve disease is liking having a break so she can rest, and Amit is liking being able to put in a full day of work again.
"This was so stupidly emotional," Marinda said when asked. "It wasn't like I'm a working adult and needed to put my kid into daycare - but I guess having a health issue works too. Plus it is is ONLY two days a week! And it is at one of the best daycares around (yay for UW childcare assistance) so hopefully he'll turn out ok." *cue eye roll from the universe* Yes, Luke did great this week and we're all much healthier as a family.

We had a few other fun adventures this week, like Luke and Marinda going to "Puppy Time" at the community center where the kids got to pet service dogs, and we went and found a bike at Good Will for Amit to ride to work theoretically.

| SOOOOOOO fuzzy! These dogs were so well trained they almost seem sedated. |

| What? It's for riding not eating? |
Luke also had his first dentist appointment this week! It was just tagged on to Marinda and Amit's, but he sat on Marinda's chair and the dentist got to look at all his pearly whites. Start them early so they don't freak out when their older right? Plus it made a great picture. :)

Marinda's Mom also came into town this week for a little bit and babysat Luke while Marinda and Amit went out for their anniversary! They celebrated on Friday since their actual anniversary was on Tuesday, and what a celebration it was! Marinda told Amit that she wanted to feel special and that she wanted to go somewhere fancy for dinner. So Amit surprised her and took her to Palisade at the Seattle Yacht Club. All we could say was "wow." They had a live pianist on a balcony looking over the dinning room. You have to walk over a bridge with a salt water pool underneath with live fish and sea creatures. And the view... A perfect view of the sound and downtown Seattle at sunset. Of course the food was to die for as well. Well done Amit, Marinda definitely felt like a princess!
