Well, we made it back to our messy apartment in one piece. We were really bumbed to leave Bear Lake, but it felt good to be back in our cute little apartment and begin our normals lives again.
Not much happened this week other than continuing to work on putting stuff away, but Marinda did find some good articles on-line. The first was called "O, Alma Mater" and this is what Marinda had to say about it:
After all the pictures we've taken of Luke in the past two weeks, we actually forgot to take any pictures this week except for the one at Goodwill. Ooops. We hope you guys will read this anyways!

This is one of the most beautiful and inspiring articles I have ever read. Ever since graduating from my prestigious (and expensive) university with a degree in physics and training in engineering to then choose to be a stay-at-home mom and music teacher, I have had trouble telling others what I got out of going to Case other than my husband. I'm not in grad school or in a top career, so what was the point? I feel so much better after reading this article, and it reminds of a quote from Brigham Young who said if he had the choice to educate his sons or his daughters he would choose his daughters because they were the ones raising the next generation. The second was a long but great read on work-family balance and about what is wrong with the current system and what has to change. It is called "Why Women Still Can't Have It All."
