Bear Luke Adventures

We've had a blast this past week at Bear Lake and are sad that we'll have to leave tomorrow. We've spent our days hanging out with family, splashing in the water, and even going sailing!

First off, it has been great having family around. We had all of Marinda's immediate family (plus spouses/fiancees and children) at the cabin for a couple days. That's 11 adults and 4 kids, and we had guests over for some of those days too. On one day we had 20 people here for lunch!

Luke has had so much fun playing in the water. We brought sand toys, but he's not really into them. He's too busy having fun splashing in the water and playing in the sand. He really likes standing in the water and letting the waves hit him and splash all over him.

One of our favorite things about Bear Lake is going out on the sailboat, and this year we introduced Luke to this Mitchell family tradition. We even had his two older cousins onboard with us. (Don't worry, there was almost no wind). Luke reached through the tarp and splashed in the water a bit, and then nearly fell asleep from the boat's rocking.

There's also a couple kayaks and a paddleboard at the lake. Amit took Luke for a (short) kayak trip and he nearly fell asleep from the rocking of the waves. Do you see a pattern emerging here?
