One of our good friends is recovering from jaw surgery and Marinda signed up to help make dinner. But then, of course, she wasn't feeling good, so Amit stepped up and made this yummy chili with cornbread baked on top with bbq sauce drizzled onto of that. Michelle, the invalid, said it smelled so good she put a little on her tongue even though she couldn't eat it. She then raved about it to everyone - Go Amit!
Marinda has discovered a new perk to family housing - she can go visiting teaching across the playground and the baby monitor will still reach!
Luke is doing pretty ok with daycare, though lately he has started freaking out about being left places. He and Marinda had a playdate with Sam and Tally this week, and Luke spent the first hour sitting on top of Marinda to make sure that she didn't heartlessly leave him. You know, like she does for daycare.
