The Last Wedding EVER

After going to three different weddings, in three weekends, in three states/countries, for three different religions we have decided that no one is ever getting married ever again.  Got that Ben and Jana?  What Jana, you're already engaged?  And what Ben, you're tired of being the 11th wheel?  Sorry guys, too bad.  We've reached our wedding limit for this decade, check back in sometime around 2020.

We had a really hard time leaving Luke's Jejema and Jejebapa, but I think they even had a harder time letting us go.  Marinda and Amit were pretty sure that Jejebapa was just going to walk away with Luke at the airport and drive him home without telling us.  Luke sure does love them!

Look at those big smiles!
Aww... Luke is giving his ever affectionate eye pokes.
What a crazy boy!  So excited to be at the airport - again!
We began this epic weekend by checking into a very stinking nice Marriott in downtown Salt Lake and taking full advantage of the tourist trap of Temple Square with our family.  Marinda's parents even babysat the baby monitor so Amit and Marinda could have a nice date at the hotel restaurant.  The awesome part was they forgot to take the toothpick out of Marinda's chicken, which she didn't mind, but they felt so bad that two slices of cake showed up at their table!  Score!

Then it was off to work!  Well, for Marinda at least.  As these very incriminating pictures will reveal, Luke spent most of the day before the wedding distracting Grandma and Grandpa while Marinda organized flower arraingements and center pieces.  Ok, so they did a lot too, but Luke WAS quite a distraction!  I mean, just look at that cute chubby face!  Who could resist that!

No guilt!
Though the look on Luke's face is pretty priceless!

Amit was lucky enough to be invited to the bachelor party (hence why he wasn't helping set up for the luncheon) and they totally busted it out with grilled stakes and root beer floats in the McKenna's backyard.  Oh yeah, how could you possibly get any manlier?  Only by having your wife and mother-in-law and all the other females show up at the house to finish cutting fruit.

Then it was the big day!  Marinda was just so choked up.  It was the first live sealing Marinda and Amit had been to since their own, and it was beautiful to remember that special day and even more so the special promises we made to God.  The ceremony is so simple and short, but holds all the power of eternity to bind a family together.

Michelle was the most beautiful bride ever, and Kyle and Ben were an adorable couple.  Funny thing, they actually walked out the doors before everyone was ready, so the photographer made them do it again.  If you're raised Mormon, you understand how important that walk out the doors is and it is definitely one you want to capture.

Then there was a bunch of pictures and enjoying the beautiful day and visiting with our wanna-be relatives (are they the wanna-bes or are we?).  There may have been some wedding planning with Luke to one of the little girls there...  hey, we will be related!  Someday two of our off springs have to fall for each other if we keep hanging out with them!  It is all about the law of probability!

The luncheon was beautiful complete with Kyle playing the piano and singing a song to his new bride.  Unknown to anyone, he actually had recorded the last verse on the keyboard, so when he got to it he pressed play and walked over to her while still singing.  It was quite cute.

The reception was that night and at the bride's parents backyard.  With delightful treats, a live band and good company, it was a perfect way to end their celebration.

Congrats Kyle and Michelle!  You guys make a terrific couple!

Wait for it...
and MARRIED!
What a beautiful couple!
AWWWwwww..........
I love this shot,
I told Kyle to help her with her dress just so I could sneak it.  :)
SO EXCITED!!!!!!!
What a cute family!
Instead of having a straight up bridal party they just had
all the guys in the two families wear matching ties.
The funny guy muscle shot - pretty great if you ask me!
And here they are!  What a happy pair they make!

He is just too good looking not to post more pictures of him
