Ex-WHEEZE Me! Box Coming Through!

This weekend was Stake Conference, which means it was BUSY. Yesterday was filled with meetings and a service project at Ravenna Park. We spent an hour cleaning up ivy and blackberry weeds in an area of the park, and by 'we' we mean Amit. Marinda hung out with Luke near the food. "Hey! Luke was busy picking up all the trash near the picnic area," Marinda replied. "He picked up things I wouldn't have even noticed."  He also got a nice healthy helping

 of dirt...  by the end of the picnic he looked like he had gotten into chocolate pudding!

Today we celebrated Cinco de Mayo we some friends. We (Marinda) made horchata and guacamole, and other people brought stuff for Cafe Rio burritos and tres leches cake.  It was AMAZING and we both stuffed ourselves silly.

In this week's health section, Luke has been wheezing. It happens every time he's playing and gets excited, or really any time he's happy. Concerned, we took him to the pediatrician. To fully examine Luke our doctor wanted to observe Luke while he was wheezing, so what did we do? He asked us if it was ok to let Luke crawl around and have fun. As soon as we put him down he took off, and so did his wheezing.  It was quite amusing to see Luke super crawling around the doctor's office with the pediatrician chasing him with his stethoscope   Luke is fine, it's just him being super-excited. Apparently he might think it's fun to make the noise or he's just doing it subconsciously.  For your information asma is wheezing on the out breath, while Luke was only wheezing on the in breath.

Marinda has become all sorts of weak again.  *sigh*  We just can't seem to win.  She literally slept 20 hours Tuesday.  Amit let her crash on the couch, clearly if Luke could be yelling less then three feet away from her and to have her not even stir probably meant that she needed it.

Well, it was in the 80s today with a forecast of beautiful 70 degree weather for the rest of the week.  Oh yeah, life is good.
