Luke is the best baby ever. He is enjoying 'talking' a lot more now. He's currently working on his 'g' sounds. The way he does it is unrepeatable - it's almost like he's rolling an R but making a 'g' sound or like he's gurgling his saliva. He can sort of say 'hi' (as much as any 4 month old can) and sometimes he says something that sounds like 'dada'. (note: Amit is writing this week.) He also has discovered that his foot tastes delicious! At least that's what we think - he always putting it in his mouth now!
In other Luke news we have found that he gets punch drunk happy late at night or when he's trying to avoid nap time. He'll go from crying one minute to laughing as much as he can the next minute. We try not to encourage it, but how can you not when he's so cute?
Otherwise our lives are pretty boring. Marinda has started reading the Secret Garden. We paid close attention to the election Tuesday but then quickly got over the results and now it barely even registers than anything had changed in the world. I'm sure we'll notice the effects at some point, but right now we have more important things engaging our time and attention - like this little guy!
