The highlight of this week was that Luke was invited to a birthday party for one of his pre-school friends. The party was at Kidz Bounce, which is this amazing place with a bunch of bouncy houses. Luke was a little grumpy beforehand because Marinda made him go and get the girl flowers, but once he got there had an absolute blast. Jacy fell asleep on our way there, so she was a little out of it at first. But after a while she started having a ball too. It was really cute because there were some older girls who just adored her and kept playing with her and carrying her up to the top of the giant slide so Amit didn't have to. Jacy tried getting to the top of the slide on her own but she wasn't able to do it, so she made Amit carry her up. She liked it so much she went to the way up and made the sign for 'more' at Amit. Luke would wait at the top for them and they'd all go down at the same time.

Luke kept wanting Amit to take pictures of him. He was having so much fun!
Luke took a turn on the birthday girl's throne before we left.
Amit tried to get Jacy on the bike for so long, and then she got on by herself but couldn't figure out how to make it go.

Other than that this the big thing this week was that we got to be judges for an elementary school Reflections contest. It was like a date night - no kids, looking at super-fancy art projects, and we even got dinner!
Jacy stories:
•Check out Jacy's new bling! Aren't those the most stylish bracelets ever?
•Jacy obviously wants some Starbucks hot chocolate, but it's not in a sippy cup! What can she do? Oh, that will surely work.
•Look at our little girl who fell asleep on mommy!
Luke stories:
•Luke has been really good at doing his own laundry (usually with help, but still). This time he even employed some extra hands.
•Luke got a turkey from school that he was supposed to decorate, so he decided to paint it! And look - we're finally using our art aprons for actual art (as opposed to food art)
•At the grocery store Luke wanted to buy a colander so he could rinse of blueberries for Jacy (awwwwww). He even told people about it at the store and they gushed over him. And the best part is that actually did it! He got blueberries out of the fridge, brought his stool over to the sink and washed them all on this own.
•Luke has been saving up his quarters and this time around he wanted to buy a starbucks ornament so his cute little puppy (which is actually Jacy's cute little puppy) could have hot chocolate parties. So we went to Starbucks, bought the ornament, and he was so happy. But then tragedy struck - the ceramic ornament fell off the countertop and broke the very next day! Luke was obviously devastated, so we went and found a plastic ornament instead.
