Not-Election Blog Post

This was a pretty quiet week, other than the election, which are not going to talk about. Ever. Again.

Anyways, enjoy the stories about the kids!

Luke stories:

•We finally put all of Luke's pre-school art on the wall. Check out how talented he is!

'

•Luke loves building robots and transformers with his tinker toys. Here's his latest creation. I think this was actually a street sweeper maybe?

•Luke is now officially in charge of taking care of Jacy. One night this week we didn't have anything ready for dinner and had all gotten home right around dinner time. Luke wanted a PB&J sandwich so we asked him if he could make sandwiches for him and Jacy. And he did it! We helped bring things done from high shelfs and helped open some containers, but other than that he did everything himself!

Chef Luke in action. Today's special is PB&J (market price)

Jacy stories:

•Here's a video showing off her great nodding skills.

•Jacy is working hard on her application for the Jedi Academy. She's too old to begin the training, but we're hoping they'll make an exception for her. I mean, come on, look at these awesome lightsaber moves!

•Every time we do video chat or take a video Jacy gets super-excited about seeing herself. Maybe she's vain, or maybe she just values beauty in whatever form it comes.

•Jacy takes voting day very seriously. Just look at the concentration on her face while dropping off our ballots with Marinda!

To answer the question from "That Person" - no, this is not evidence that 1 year olds are helping candidate X steal the election

Luke and Jacy stories:

•Amit was watching the kids on Saturday and trying to clean up the family room at the same time. Jacy was being really out of it on the couch because she was sick and Luke was earning his quarter for helping clean up. He also learned a little about counting too!

•You know, there was a time when Marinda would spend hours every day writing, even when the kids were awake. For some reason, that doesn't really work anymore. We're not really sure why though...

Yes, this is what happens every time Marinda opens her laptop when the kids are awake.
