The Great and Coveted Title of "Too Funny"

We've had a great time here in Cleveland this week!  Luke has had a blast with his Jejema and Jejebapa, along with a special guest appearance of Duday and Leena Nani!  There didn't seem to be enough of him to go around, and it almost seemed like they were competing for his affection, or at least for him to bestow upon them the sudden outburst of "*insert name* too funny!"  Once you get that, you are pretty much set for life.  You really can't get any higher praise than that from a one year old!

Yay! We love Leena Nani!!
Just kidding, she be crazy!!!
In the final count, Jejebapa was the winner!  Everyday when he would come home from work, Luke would freak out with excitement and the two of them would run off to the basement to play.  They were just so ridiculous and Luke declared Jejebapa his favoriet.

Jejema was a close second though!  Luke played with her all day and even got to go get some treats with her, like ice cream!  In fact, he liked the ice cream so much, that Luke has been talking in his sleep about it.  Marinda distinctly heard him say the words "ice cream" and "crackers."  They read books and played with cars in general bonded like crazy.

We're sure you're wondering how Amit and Marinda did.  Well, um....  Luke would still acknowledge them.  Occasionally.

And it's Luke for the score!

Ok that isn't completely true, because Luke has become attactched to his parents all night long.  Like, literally.  HE HAS FIGURED OUT HOW TO CLIMB OUT OF HIS PACK AND PLAY!  We thought we understood what sleep deprivation was.  We thought we understood what pain and endless suffering was.  Everything has changed.  Marinda would literally stand in front of the door to the bedroom for hours, waiting for Luke to open it so she could put him back to bed.  Hopefully he'll forget all this when we get home in his crib, right?  It's just a pack and play thing, right?

Luke is determined to clean the house

For Luke's newest accomplishments, he can now sing "I am a child of God", carry the five pound weights across the room, and speak almost exclusively in complete sentences!  His profound musing include "I want mommy and daddy,' "Luke is going down stairs" and "Come inside Mommy!"

The neighbor had a dog - Luke made friends!

Awww.... Do we have to get him a dog now?
On a side note, visiting Cleveland is terrific for Marinda's writing career.  She got, like, four chapters done this week!
