This week was another week of firsts! The biggest first being LUKE's FIRST TOOTH! Yes sir, this little boy had a miserable time of it, but Luke now is the proud owner of a little speck of white at the bottom of his mouth. His smile is so cute and silly now. After going through the teething tablets and fever and children's Tylenol, Amit asked in all seriousness if we were going to have to go through this with ever tooth. Unfortunately the answer is yes.
Yay for parenting!
Other fun first this week is Luke's new ability to go from his belly to a sitting position! This is huge, and he is so proud of himself that he also has figured out how to clap. Go Luke!
One of the side effects of Luke figuring out how to get on his hands and knees is his new sleeping positions. Marinda went in to check on Luke (or as Amit calls it "creeping" - because Marinda is a creeper apparently) and she found him sleeping with his little bum in the air. It is by far the cutest thing since the puppy was invented.
This week Luke also acquired his first goose egg... No we are not beating him, but one of his sitting adventures ended with him toppling to the side and hitting his head. He is acting ok and he didn't really cry much, but man did he have a bump!
Our last piece of news for you this week comes from our art and culture experts. Marinda has been dabbling in graphic design as of late and made this masterpiece. "I'm going to have it framed and on the wall to remind me of the hope that new life always brings and reminds me of - at least the new little life that came into my life."
